About Dr. Matt

Matt is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who helps athletes move past pain, and limitations in order to regain movement, freedom, and confidence. He enjoys working with a variety of athletes and is committed to helping them achieve optimal physical health and performance, so they can get back to the things they love to do. Matt utilizes a movement-based approach along with manual techniques and modalities such as Dry needling, Blood Flow Restriction Training, Myofascial Cupping, and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization to treat his clients.

 

 

Matt attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he earned his Bachelors of Science in Community Health. He later attended Regis University in Denver where he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He spent a few years working in Colorado after graduation before moving back to the Chicago area. He was a multi-sport athlete growing up but took special interest in Hockey. Outside of work, Matt stays active through endurance sports, weightlifting, playing hockey, and golf. You can also find him attending sporting events, spending time with family, or relaxing with his girlfriend and their dog Kora.
